Hello from Pitchfork & Crow!
It’s early December and, as we’ve been promising, we’re ready to begin accepting members for the first season of the Pitchfork & Crow CSA program. CSA’s are supported by community members who pre-pay for a weekly share of the farm harvest. The Pitchfork & Crow CSA season will last 25 weeks, from June 5th thru November 19th, and cost $500. In exchange for joining, members will receive a weekly box of fresh, local vegetables and a weekly newsletter updating members on what’s in the share, what’s happening on the farm, and recipe suggestions.
Further CSA details can be found on the CSA page and in the CSA Brochure. If you decide to join the CSA, please download the CSA Commitment Form and mail it to us. Note that no payment is due at this time and all members will receive an invoice in early January. Space in the CSA program is limited to 20 spots for this first year, so be sure to send in your commitment form as soon as possible if you want to join!
We will also be returning to the Salem Saturday Market in May 2010. If you choose not to join the CSA we hope to see you at the Market!
Thanks,
Jeff Bramlett and Carri Heisler
