We’re gearing up for Sunday’s South Salem Farmer’s Market! We’ll be harvesting from the acre tonight for fresh veggies tomorrow morning. Here’s a selection of what we’ll be bringing to the Market:
- Amaranth
- Basil (we decided to harvest the first of the basil!)
- Broccoli
- Cabbage
- Chard
- Cucumbers (slicing cukes, first of the year!)
- Kale
- Lettuce
- Peas (snow, snap, and shelling!)
- Salad Mix
- Zucchini (new for us this week!)
After a week of weeding the acre looks better than ever and the plants are noticeably bigger. This week we have zucchini for the first time and it marks the beginning of a season of squash that will hopefully continue into the fall.
We hope to see you Sunday sometime between 10am and 3pm. The market is located at the intersection of Liberty and Madrona in South Salem.
