Hello from Pitchfork & Crow ~

We’re ready for another day at the Salem Saturday Market tomorrow!  Here’s a selection of what we’ll be bringing to market:

• Garlic Whistles
• Head Lettuce
• Radishes
• Salad Mix

We’re bringing you another week of lettuce!  For the time being, lettuce is what we’ve got, so lettuce shall be what we bring.  The major planting has continued this past week at the farm and we are feeling more and more confident that one day we will be able to offer you more than lettuce.  Over the last week we have transplanted a great number of plants, mostly cucurbits and solanums.  Cucumbers, summer squash, eggplants, peppers, tomatillos, and potatoes plus beans and popcorn!  What a week!  While it’s all a little late, with each new planting we’re another step closer to more veggies!  So, we’ll continue planting and we hope you’ll be happy with another week of lettuce.
