CSA Member Text Reminders

Hello CSA Members!

We’re continuing with optional text reminders for members this season. Opt in to the service and you’ll get a friendly text reminder when the CSA pick-up begins. Easy peasy!

PLEASE NOTE: We’ll be using Remind to organize the texting process. Remind is a free platform set-up for teachers to reach out to students but we’ll be using it for pick-up reminders. For our purposes Pitchfork & Crow is the teacher and CSA members are the students/parents.

To get P&C CSA text messages you’ll need to text a code to the phone number 81010.

*BI-WEEKLY SUMMER MEMBERS: We will split bi-weekly share members into two groups. This will determine your CSA start date and help us even out our weekly harvests. Please let us know if you don’t know which group you’ve been assigned.

Other things to know about this texting service:

  • When you sign-up you’ll be asked for your name and birth date. This information is not shared outside our group. The birth date is only used to verify you are over the age of 13 and can receive texts from the service.
  • You’ll also be asked to choose a role for the class. Generally you’ll choose student.
  • You’ll also be prompted to download the Remind app. You don’t have to download the app to get messages from us and it can be a bit of a hassle to set-up at first.
  • If you choose to download the app and are asked for the school name, choose P&C CSA.
  • If you reply to a text reminder from us your message will go directly to Carri’s phone via a randomly assigned phone number, and not to the whole group.
  • To opt out of messages reply to the text with @STOPALL
