Hello 2020 Summer CSA Members!
We’re excited to welcome you to the CSA and 26 weeks of local, seasonal, organic vegetables! Whether you’ve been with us for past seasons or this is your first time in the CSA, you likely have questions and we have answers. We’ve compiled this page as a resource guide with information on pick-up location and logistics, program details, and tips for getting the most out of your CSA experience.
Below you’ll find a link to download the 2020 CSA Member Handbook. Please review this information and keep it handy for future reference. The updated Member Handbook is longer than in the past, but aims to be more comprehensive and we’ve added a linked Table of Contents to help you navigate. We’ve addressed pick-up logistics in the time of COVID-19, payment options, member communication, new varieties we’re growing, and more! We suggest even returning members should take some time to skim through the Member Handbook before the season begins to make sure we’re all on the same page.
We’ve also updated the CSA Member App with some helpful resources including a list of crops we’re growing this season, a quick storage tip sheet, some go-to ‘vegetable exit strategies’, and other tips on how to love your CSA share. We hope you find them useful!
Don’t forget to join the P&C CSA Member Facebook group to see what other members are up to with their shares each week. We hope to post more from the farm this season too!
Finally, we’ve added a new text reminder option. Never forget to pick-up your CSA share again! If you choose to opt-in to the service, we’ll text you at the beginning of each pick-up as a reminder to come grab your share. Click here for all the details.
We’re looking forward to a fantastic season and hope you are too! Let us know if you have any questions either at the pick-up or in an email (farmers@pitchforkandcrow.com).
